Picnic in Singapore

Picnic is one of the best past time for great family bonding. Last Sunday, also the last weekend of 2013, my cousins and I organised a picnic at East Coast park, near carpark E2. It was a breezy day, with 6 families and 12 children we have lots of FUN time.

In Singapore, there are many other places suitable for picnic, such as Chinese Gardens, Sentosa bench, MacRitchie reservoir, Hort Park, Marina Barrage, Bishan Park, Fort Canning park and many more.

Its fun to do this once in a while cos, you get everyone to prepare some food and the children can have lots of fun under the sun and in the waters.

We reached there about 11am and the park was already very crowded. We were lucky enough to find a shelter 'house' as we were pitching our tents, the group left, and we quickly, swarmed in. The children started off with playing sand next to the shelter and they had Macdonalds Happy meals for lunch. For adult, we have fried bee noon, grilled chicken, chicken wings, rojak, fried beancurd, ang ku kueh, bread, cakes and drinks. Once after lunch, we rode bicycle, some of them brought their own bicycle while others rent. We have a jumbo bicycle for 4 adults and 5 children. Look out for the pictures below. After riding, the whole troops went to the waters and we end the day with some children games such as musical chairs, passing ball and dance your heart out.

Seeing the following pictures, make all of us as a parent, proud and happy as all the children have lots of fun. Its all written on their faces that we captured on these photos.
